New Specs And A Slightly New Outlook On Life:

So a couple of things have changed here in the world of “Chelsea-Lyne” over the last few months. The most noticable are my new pair of specs - which are ridiculous and oh-so “geek-chic” as some might say. Yes, they are real - perscription and all - no faking these babies! I’ve attached two photos for your viewing…enjoyment?

The other thing that has changed is more of a personal nature. I have been fairly sick for the last couple years and as a result have recently found out I have to change a lot. Namely in terms of what I can and cannot eat (ie. for starters - yes, it’s true - no more sugar, or chocolate). I also found out on top of this I’ve had a tooth infection for 3 months - which is why I have consistently had a “cold” since August! OY!

All of this being said - I am taking a little bit of “me” time, and some healing time to just try and get better. I have been struggling to keep up with full-time school and work - especially while trying to maintain energy even though I’ve been sick - and so some things have taken a bit of a backseat. One of those things, most unfortunately, has been music. That being said…

HAVE NO FEAR!

“Volume II” of the Stratford recording sessions (basically part 2 of debut CD) is currently being mixed - and is almost ready for printing. I also have some wonderful friends working on the album artwork. And I will be shooting some music videos in preparation for the CD release later this year.

I will be taking a bit of down time from performing - and will just be spending some personal time both a) healing and b) developing my craft.

I’m really looking forward to the road ahead, and what will come from it - and I truly believe this mini- hiatus is incredibly  necessary for my process.

I greatly appreciate everyone who continues to be there for me - especially right now when things aren’t exactly easy :)

With so much love, and gratitude.

And big snuggly hugs,

CL.
